NEW SCHOOL BASED EMPLOYEES IN PERMANENT NON-CERTIFIED POSITIONS
ARE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A BUS LICENSE.
THE COST OF A NC CDLWITH A BUS LICENSE IS APPROXIMATELY $120 - $200.
STATE VISION AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR BUS DRIVERS MUST BE MET.
DMV REQUIRES VISION TO CORRECT TO 20/40 IN BOTH EYES FOR BUS DRIVERS.
