CGo Bruins!!!

Khan Academy
If you have not checked out Khan Academy, I would encourage you to do so. The link is www.khanacademy.org. The website has videos, coaching, and practice that may be useful as you begin to prepare for your exams.

Sport Physicals
Now is the time to begin planning for the fall. Many sports, such as football and soccer, have early workouts, which may begin mid-summer. Sports physicals are required for these workouts. You can download the sports physical form from here.

Media Center
The media center will be closed until the renovations are complete. Mrs. Aydlett will be working out of the Information Highway room during this time.

The CCHS Athletic Booster Club will be sponsoring a silent auction on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 5:30pm at the CCHS Athletic Awards Ceremony.  Items to be auctioned off include:  autographed balls and memorabilia from all of the sports teams for the 2011-2012 sports seasons.  If you have any questions, please contact Scott Jones at 252-619-0810

Teachers, students and parents now have a new tool to help them download the latest multimedia education resources from North Carolina, including presentations, professional development videos, curriculum materials and more, for free. The NCDPI and the Governor's Office have worked with other organizations in the state to create the collection of education related audio and video files that is now available on the new "North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and Partners" section of iTunes U. Users also can subscribe to receive alerts when new material is added under a specific category. You can access North Carolina’s site at www.ncpublicschools.org/itunesu/


 

Student Online Newsletter

Attention Freshmen

Freshman Focus Meeting…Freshman Focus will meet Wednesday s from 3:20 – 4:00. This group will focus on transitioning and/or tutoring freshmen for high school success. All freshmen are encouraged to attend these sessions.


Attention Upperclassman

In addition to our Freshman Focus, we now have an Upperclassman Focus because students take more high-stakes tests during these years than any other time in their education. These sessions will meet Tuesdays from 3:15-4:00.

Farm Fresh 1234 Program

CamTech High School is collecting Farm Fresh receipts during the 2010-2011 School Year. On the receipts every dollar converts to points the school can use to purchase educational equipment. All Farm Fresh receipts should be turned in to CamTech's main office.
